Immediately presented with a clean and minimal facade, the entrance to Zenkai is a precursor to the sensory experience and warm welcome that awaits. Step foot inside and immediately be struck by the homely warmth of the central living sanctum primary therapist Dr Danielle Slade’s (registered acupuncturist) family home sublimely exudes.
Simultaneously, both cool and clean, warm and welcoming, an array of unmatched vintage chairs nested along a rustic table, demand attention as they juxtapose against glowing grey concrete surfaces. Everything reflects the bright, warm forest filtered light, beaming in through expansive wall-to-ceiling windows, that frame the Blackwood Forest beyond.
One of Zenkai’s inner circle PA’s will meet and guide the way a treatment room.
Natural light accompanies as you make your way towards the sublimely luminous treatment rooms. Each room is minimally decorated and exudes an air of purposefullness in every piece of decor, the space is filled with a luxurious quality that needs nothing more.
Framing the outer edges of the treatment rooms, a picture of serene stillness lays beyond the windows, a perfectly composed Japanese garden displays it’s myriad of soft emerald mosses and a lightly dappled Japanese maple.
